Paid to fight

Paid To Fight is a collaborative short commissioned for the centennial of the Battle of the Somme. The film is in response to Yrsa Daley-Ward's poem 'When your mother calls you, come' and is about black people's involvement in World War One. Commissioned by 14-18 NOW the film is part of over 140 artwork pieces which have collectively been viewed over thirty million times.
